Google Sheets is a very helpful tool in the spreadsheets business. The advanced and useful features of Google Sheets make it the best spreadsheet software for professional and amateur users alike. Most of the features are found in the ribbon view of your spreadsheet. One of the best things about Google Sheets is that it allows you to work on multiple worksheets simultaneously. Allowing you to save time and make changes more easily.
To edit a single sheet. Highlight the cell and then move to the far right of the editing area to the right of the image control bar. Then click on Format. Type a value in the Text box and then shift + enter to edit the cell.
To edit multiple rows and columns. Highlight the cells you want to update and then choose the left pane of the ribbon. Then click on the little drop-down arrow next to Rows and columns and move your mouse to the desired number of cells you want to edit. In the bottom right corner of the cells edit the value you wish to display for Currency, Unit and Date.
Move your mouse to the Format toolbar and look for the Google Sheets formulas button. There is a link that says Browse and select the desired spreadsheet you want to convert to a formula. The Google Docs application will open up and you can use the drop-down menu of types to select the type of spreadsheet you are going to convert to a formula. Choose the default if you do not have any.
Open another document in your spreadsheet program. You will now add the new type of formula you created previously. Notice that the range formula has already been converted to an array formula. You can modify the values and the array formula with your new data. Once you have finished modifying the value, copy and paste it into your Google Spreadsheet document.
Close your spreadsheet program. Use the Google spreadsheets tools to create a new document and then paste the updated data into the new document. For more information on how to modify spreadsheet data, read the Google sheets help section.
To apply the Google spreadsheet formulas, click the formulas button on the main page of your spreadsheet program. You will see the calculate button. Once the calculate button is activated, you will be able to enter the data you want to be formatted and the Google will automatically format the cell.
Finally, to convert your spreadsheet to use the google sheets formulas, you can either copy the whole document or just copy and paste the formula or function into the cell. However, if you cannot open the document you have created with the f2 key, you can download Microsoft Office Online. Open the Microsoft Office Online program and copy the entire document. Once you have copied the file, you will be able to find the corresponding f2 key in the drop down menu of the spreadsheet wizard. Now, you are ready to begin formatting the cell.
